I created the idea of The Laundry Lounge App to give the task of doing laundry a more enjoyable experience. Meeting up with family or friends, or just yourself, it's a fun and comfortable place to get the dreadful task of laundry done. The loading screen gives the illusion of a washer filling up. Then it brings you to choose a location that is near you, saved, or entered. Once chosen, you have the choice of looking at the cafe' menu at that location, playing laundry related app games, or selecting WASH. When selecting WASH, you can see all the available washers/dryers at the location before you arrive. There are also specials that have discounts and points added. And lastly, there is MY WASH, where the app connects with the washers/dryers you have selected when arrived, telling you how much time you have left on the cycle and also a wash/dry again option if wanted. It alerts your phone when your clothes are ready to be taken out. This way you can leave the Laundry Lounge, with your clothes locked secure and washing/drying, and run other errands with a timer on hand. Washing your clothes made easy, but you still have to fold them. Haven't made an app for that.
